Input
MatrixWindows PVC is the program to make a perfect
calculation, view drawing and work preparation of plastic
frames quickly, easily and flexibly. The software is based
on 35 years of knowledge and experience in the field of
automation within the window frame industry and has become
an extremely user-friendly and flexible solution for plastic
window frames.
The assembly of the plastic frames
consists of entering the main shape of the frames and the
positions of intermediate posts and thresholds. You then
choose what the function of each frame compartment will be,
such as fixed glass, a window, a door or a panel. The
connections of all plastic profiles can be determined
automatically. Manually intervening on software choices is
one of the standard options. Finally, edge finishes such as
coupling profiles, mounting holes and any adapters are
assigned.
HVL connections
MatrixWindows PVC supports HVL connections. This applies to both the single Wood Look Connection introduced in 2017. This makes plastic frames look more than ever before on traditional wooden frames. In cooperation with machine supplier Kruba and with MatrixWindows user Kufa Window systems, Matrix Software has made the software suitable for supporting the HVL connections up to and including CNC control.
Drawing work
The result of MatrixWindows PVC is in the first place a complete set of drawings. The drawings are provided with all relevant information so that clients are clear what they are offered. And for the workplace it is clear what has to be produced.
Calculation
For the price calculation, in the first place all the necessary materials are pulled out and the working hours for producing the frames are calculated. The library contains information about material prices and hourly rates. The estimated hours per cost center can be influenced with the help of man-hour coefficients. Price calculations can be made per element, for the entire project or for delivery series.
Quotation
If the calculation is complete and ready, MatrixWindows offers you the option to automatically compile a quote in Microsoft Word®. Based on a self-definable Word template, the calculation is converted into a representative and professional quotation with descriptions, drawings and price information.
Work preparation and production
As soon as a quotation becomes an assignment, the production of the frame can be started with the same input. Work preparation is started in the first place. All required detailed information is added to the frame so that it is precisely recorded how the frame must be produced. After all the required materials have been pulled out, they can be ordered or taken out of stock. Production planning is drawn up on the basis of all hours. Ultimately, the frame goes into production. Regardless of whether the frame is made with manually operated machines or with fully automatic CNC-controlled machines, MatrixWindows provides for the determination of all required information.
